Pork Chops & Sauerkraut

Tangy Silver Fleece Sauerkraut and juicy pork chops merge to make this authentic German dish. Our Pork Chops and Sauerkraut are made even more delicious with brown sugar, onions, and garlic.

Ingredients:
- 1 (27 oz.) can Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, drained
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 4 Pork Chops, 1/2" thick
- 2 Cups Yellow Onion, diced
- 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 1/4 Cup Caraway Seeds
- 1/2 Cup Dry White Wine, or water
- 2 tsp. Brown Sugar
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown pork chops, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In same skillet, add onion and garlic. Cook about 5-6 minutes, or until onions are tender. Stir in Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, caraway seeds, wine, and brown sugar.
- Top with pork chops. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 30-35 minutes.
