Print Recipe Now Ingredients 2 (24 oz.) jars Dei Fratelli Homestyle Pasta Sauce 1 (16 oz.) package Ziti Pasta 1 lb. Ground Beef 1 White Onion diced6 slices Provolone Cheese 6 slices Mozzarella Cheese 1 1/2 Cups Sour Cream 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated1/4 Cup Fresh Basil chopped Instructions Preheat oven to 350 F. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. While water is boiling, cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and return beef to the skillet. Add onions to the beef and saute until they become translucent, about 5 minutes. Add Dei Fratelli Homestyle Pasta Sauce and mix together. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. In a lightly greased baking dish, place half the pasta in a layer on the bottom. Top with alternating pieces of provolone and mozzarella cheeses, using 3 slices of each. Spread a layer of half the sauce mixture over the cheese slices, spreading evenly. Top the sauce with an even layer of the sour cream. Repeat the layers starting with the remaining pasta, followed by the sliced cheese, then with the remaining pasta sauce. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and half of the fresh basil over the top. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly bubbly. Garnish with remaining fresh basil.
