  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook penne pasta until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pan, cook Italian sausage until browned. Drain and set aside. Empty grease out of pan and wipe clean.
  4. Using the same pan, add olive oil and onion. Cook for several minutes or until onions begin to turn translucent. Add minced garlic and cook another minute.
  5. Add Dei Fratelli Fire Roasted Vegetable Pasta Sauce, Dei Fratelli Seasoned Diced Tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Return Italian sausage to pan and mix well.
  6. Add the mascarpone cheese. Continue mixing until cheese is completely melted. Add in cooked pasta and combine.
  7. Place mixture into a 9x13 dish. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
