Italian Breakfast Bake

Packed with goodies and full of flavor. Italian Breakfast Bake adds Dei Fratelli Seasoned Diced Tomatoes to sausage, garlic, Italian bread, and parmesan cheese all in one baked dish.

Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Seasoned Diced Tomatoes, drained and rinsed
- 3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 oz. Ground Breakfast Sausage
- 1 Cup White Onion, diced
- 2 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 4 Cups Italian Bread, cut into 3/4” cubes
- 1 1/2 Cups Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- 6 large Eggs
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage, onion, and garlic and cook until sausage is brown, about 6-8 minutes. Add Dei Fratelli Seasoned Diced Tomatoes and heat through, about another 2 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix together bread cubes, tomato mixture, and parmesan cheese until well combined. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over bread mixture and gently toss together.
- Place finished mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Chef's Tip:
Garnish with fresh, chopped chives.
