Try pizza a whole new way with Pierogi Pizza. Made with Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, a pre-baked pizza crust, mashed potatoes, and mozzarella cheese this pizza creates a Polish and Italian fusion of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz.) can Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 1 Pre-Baked Pizza Crust
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup White Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 2 Cups Prepared Mashed Potatoes, cooled
  • 1 1/2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 500 F.
  • Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.  Add onions and garlic and cook until onions are tender about 5 minutes.  Set aside.
  • Spread mashed potatoes on pizza, leaving room at the edges for crust. Top with Silver Fleece Sauerkraut, onions, and garlic.
  • Evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese over pizza and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. 

Chef's Tip:

Top with fresh, chopped chives.
