Smother your steak, chicken, or veggies with our Steak Glaze recipe. Made with Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes, beer, dijon mustard, and honey, this glaze is the perfect addition for your next grilling session.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 6 Tbsp. White Onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 Cups Beer Stout, recommended
  • 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

Instructions:

  • In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add beer and brown sugar. Cook until brown sugar is dissolved, about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Add Dei Fratelli Crushed Tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Stir until well incorporated and cook until glaze has thickened, about 10 minutes.

Chef's Tip:

This steak glaze would go great as a sauce for grilled veggie kabobs or served warm on a plant-based veggie burger.
