Ingredients:

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Dei Fratelli Whole Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Cup White Onion, chopped
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 medium Lemon, zested
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Currants, dried
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Mustard Seed
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients into a large pot. Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 30 minutes until thickened.
